Presentation Evening Tonight

The clubs annual presentation evening takes place tonight in Littlehampton.  Unfortunately there are no major team trophies on display however the much coveted personal player awards are up for grabs.  The winners of the indivdual awards will be announced on here over the weekend. ( 9th May 2008 )

Hassocks  1 v 1  Wick FC

As the scoreline suggest the game ended all square and secured a 5th place finish for the Wickers.

A first half strike Scott Murfin, his 30th of the season, was enough to see the away team have a relatively comfortable half time lead.

The lead could have been extended early in the second half when Gareth Greens effort fizzed off the bar but away to safety, infact almost from this moment the home team found themselves in space in our box before the impressive Hassocks frontman smashed the ball low and hard past the helpless Anthony Ender in goal.

A point each was probably a fair result in a never dull ' end of season ' affair. ( 7th May 2008 )
